On September 15, 1958, Glenmuir High School opened its doors to 58 students. On that day, a new institution was born.
Glenmuir opened on the vision of a Bishop and what must have been the aspirations and high expectations amid great trepidation of a young Principal.
Fifty years later, that vision has been assured and the expectations attained as Glenmuir currently holds
a distinguished position as among the top schools in Jamaica with outstanding achievements in the various areas of scholastic aptitude and prowess: academia, culture and the arts, sports, schools challenge quiz, debate, clubs and societies, community relations as well as in the status of its past students at home and abroad...
